#Democracy Now

Antigone Democracy Now is the performance produced during the Workshop Theater for Democracy, organized by Raizes with the Support of the European Youth Foundation of the Council of Europe, during the International Campaign DemocracyhereDemocracyNow.

The workshop was open to 20 under 30 artists from underprivileged districts of Palermo Municipality, and some International Artists, who participated in the creation and presentation of the performance in Squares, Streets, Theater and Events.

The story of Antigone was set in contemporary times, telling about our families, our desires, our defeats and success, and of course about our democratic system.
