Mazar – is a human rights educational project open to the participation of unaccompanied minors residing in Mazara del Vallo and Campobello di Mazara, and included in the SAI system.
The project made use of theater, art and creative writing to strenghten young people’s voices and to improve their democratic participation.
90 young people took part in the project and they attended a theater workshop which was directed by Alessandro Ienzi and Italia Carroccio.
During the project the young participants created two theater performances truly inspired by their personal stories and by poems. The workshop was the occasion to explore their inner world and to improve their proficiency in italian.
The performances where presented in Mazara on the refugee day 2025 and where included in the V World Congress for Justice with Children.
