OPEN! Revolution

OPEN! Revolution is a theater performances created during the same name workshop directed by Alessandro Ienzi, at Teatro India, in Rome, during the Festival Roma Città Aperta, organized by Teatro di Roma and Dominio Pubblico.

The workshop included 12 artists from different parts of the world, carrying an important personal story and experience. All the performers had a migratory background, and two were with disability, a deaf performer and a blind musician.

The country represented were Italy, Colombia, Spain, China, Gambia, Afghanistan, Iran.

The show was created during the three day workshop under the direction of Alessandro Ienzi. The play included original texts written by the participants. Between them also Shafi Karimi, afghan journalist residing in Paris.
